We are recruiting for a senior Business Development Manager SEA based in Singapore for a Global Leading Data Analytics company.

This is a rare opportunity for a hungry sales person to join a rapidly growing and disruptive business. We are in the market to "Decode the Future" and help our clients across multiple industries to predict trends, understand their markets and develop innovative products that sell.

As business Sales Manager you will be responsible for engaging with senior leaders and winning new corporate customers by matching our information services to their business objectives and strategic initiatives. You will be working on one of our leading Intelligence Centers across APAC. You will have the chance to make a real difference to how companies grow and expand their business.

You will possess the following:

  • Demonstrate min of 5+ years of extensive B2B sales experience into Consumer - Beverages, Food, Foodservice, FMCG, Pharma
  • Proven track record of new business hunting
  • Hunter mentality, with the desire to build a professional career in business intelligence
  • Face-to-face sales with closing experience
  • Successful track record in closing, repeating and upgrading clients.
  • Excellent communication
  • IT knowledge and ability to use Microsoft: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in using a CRM
  • Clear and articulate
  • Initiative and resourcefulness.

The role will involve:

  • New business hunting into Consumer industries across SEA
  • Engage with C-level executives and their teams across APAC
  • Run WebEx demo meetings with prospects
  • Keep up to date with current news, trends and topics related to the relevant industries to ensure an understanding of current industry trends & developments
  • To accurately identify and target clients within product portfolio
