We are working with our client a leading player in the B2B information and services space and they are looking for an experienced Sales Director to be based in Hong Kong.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high levels of recurring revenue growth across the subscription sales business within the region covered. You will develop and execute the sales strategy as well as lead a team of sales people.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement an Asia market development strategy for each market and product
  • Provide strategic feedback on the sales activities of company's products

Sales

  • Reviewing, implementing and managing scalable sales processes across the Asia team
  • The promotion of company's entire product portfolio to optimize cross-selling opportunities and business growth, utilizing appropriate sales methods and relevant internal liaison
  • Developing strong relationships
  • Attending industry events and client meetings

Financial

  • Renewing and growing revenues to exceed budgeted enterprise revenues
  • Maximizing revenues from existing clients and generating significant increase in yield by customers
  • Ensuring consistent growth in the revenues and volumes of new business for each market

Management

  • Day-to-day management of the members of your team
  • Allocation of resources, responsibilities and workloads within your team
  • Identifying areas of best practice and ensuring these are rolled out across the team

Reporting & Internal

  • Ensure effective use of Salesforce to ensure accurate reporting on client activity
  • Provision of accurate regular reporting on pipeline/revenue projections and systematic monitoring of results against targets with recommendations of remedial actions as required.
  • Attend industry and company events when required

Your profile:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or related
  • At least 7-8 years of subscription sales experience
  • Must have leadership and prior team management experience.
  • A consultative sales process in handling complex briefs.
  • Solid track record in consistently delivering or exceeding sales targets
  • Self-driven personality, ability to work independently or as a team
  • Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Google Suite preferable but not essential, and ideally Salesforce
  • Must be able to travel to designated events and business travel globally
