We are working with a leading provider of news distribution, media monitoring software, and insight services company with a strong presence and excellent reputation globally. They are now looking for a Business Development Manager here in Singapore and hit the ground running.
As the new Business Development Manager of Singapore, you will be focusing on new business sales for the company's platform solutions by reaching out to clients directly.
You will go beyond and above by achieving pre-set criteria on revenue generated predominantly on corporate workflow solutions such as media monitoring and insights, social media management and listening as well as the distribution and content strategy services.
- Ensure that all clients are handled with excellence and their requirements are acknowledged and met throughout the year.
- Stay abreast of the industry trends and following through with all leads and opportunities to maximize the opportunities of securing business as well as staying in touch closely with clients and prospects.
- Provide timely feedback on all sales activities to your superior.
Your profile:
- At least 2 years of new business sales experience as well as SaaS or subscription-based solutions selling experience or any related experience in corporate communications, marketing, public relations, investor relations, advertising, or media sales industries would be an advantage.
- Solid track record in consistently delivering or exceeding sales targets
- Self-driven personality, ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Experienced in territory management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
