Sales Manager.

Our client are a fantastic Fintech event organiser that hold global events. They have a brilliant network of corporate leaders and host large scale and successful exhibitions. This team is fast paced and agile with a growth mindset and a great culture. They are looking for bright, passionate individuals to join their team in a Business Development capacity with huge scope to scale. Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

• Managing day to day sales for the Fintech events throughout the year
• Building strong relationships within the industry
• Proactively calling and engaging prospects and previous clients to convert to sales
• Selling sponsorships, exhibition booths, event solutions and packages to key businesses within the Financial and Fintech space
• Working with the Head of BD and Head of strategy on the sales strategy, helping to develop ideas on new streams
• Prospecting and meeting with potential clients
• Following the sales process and applying it
• Researching and analysing industry trends, competitors and developments
• Forecasting sales revenue and ensuring sales targets for events are met
• Mentoring junior sales team members
• Maintaining records on the CRM, tracking sales goals and reporting weekly results

Requirements of the Business Development Manager:

• 5+ years of sales experience ideally within an event sales capacity; hybrid sales and AM candidates will also be considered
• Experience in the Fintech space is a bonus
• An interest in Fintech is essential
• Confident personality and excellent communication skills
• Ability and track record to hit KPIs and revenue targets
• Objection handling experience
• Excellent client facing and interpersonal skills
