A UK-based leading global provider of independent intelligence and insights about asset management with offices in London, Munich, Milan, Singapore, and New York is looking for a driven, hard-working, organised individual to join their team as a Sales Manager.

Role: Sales Manager

Location: Singapore

Salary: S$7,000 - S$7,500 per month

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager role will offer the right candidate a ticket into the elite world of private banking and asset management.

Working directly with the Head of Asia, the sales manager will be a trusted partner responsible for a mixture of account management and new business development across all business lines: online, data, licensing, events and content.

It will be challenging, fascinating and satisfying to:

  • Develop successful commercial relationships with existing clients of and develop new business leads with emerging clients.
  • Sell and manage delivery of world-class media, data and event
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Asian asset management and private banking industries and be able to speak knowledgeably to senior executives
  • Assist with day to day account management queries and media agencies.
  • Develop new business opportunities - this will include telephone calls, emails, and setting up and attending business meetings in Singapore and Hong Kong.
  • Attend industry events, network with clients, and undertake associated administration and follow up.

This role requires an effective communicator able to confidently work with individuals at all levels of seniority.

Relationship building will be second nature to you and you'll enjoy meeting people and influencing their behaviour.

  • At least 4-5 years' experience in a client facing sales Experience working within B2B media and an interest in learning in investments/capital markets would be an advantage.
