Head of Marketing.

My client is one of the largest design e-learning companies globally. They are primarily a remote company with lots of flexibly and autonomy. They are spread out across 30 countries, but the Leadership team is headquartered in Dubai, hence you'll need to be based in Dubai, but will offered a super accommodating work arrangement. They are growing fast and are set on course to grow even faster.

They are actively looking to hire an enthusiastic Head of Marketing to bring their business to the next level. As a Head of Marketing you'll have an extensive knowledge of growth marketing, funnel marketing, CRO, email marketing, CRM's and advertising. You will also have had significant e-commerce experience in at least one the company's major markets, USA or UK.

Further Responsibilities…

• Lead the creation and delivery of marketing strategies across brand, digital, content, social, PR, tools, technologies and audience data.
• Drive marketing and team performance to meet the agreed targets.
• Optimise the e-commerce funnel to increase acquisition and retention rates.
• Work with the COO to drive the revenue, product and retention plan.
• Reporting: provide regular reports and dashboards on performance and distill key insights and trends to support member acquisition, engagement and retention strategies and decision making.
• Identify talent and hiring needs building a world class Marketing function.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Marketing team members, both in-house and freelance or contractors, to optimize performance, career development and retention.
• Establish brand positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
• Build coherent persona's that are adopted across the organization.
• Develop a data centric marketing department where optimization and personalization are not just catch phrases.
• Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share, and lead go to market plans in new geographies and product lines.
• Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features).

To be successful you'll need…

• Demonstrated understanding of a marketing funnel and how to align campaign strategies with customer journeys and delivery.
• You are audience data orientated and have experience with funnel marketing, growth marketing, CRO, CDP's, CRM and DTC marketing.
• A leader who is able to build, manage and motivate the marketing team.
• Analytical and has a very high level of understanding of market research and data analysis.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Adwords, CRM / CDP systems, social media platforms, and automated email platforms.
• Highly proficient with office automation tools as well as internet and various databases both internal and external.
• Financial planning, forecasting and budget experience
• You have experience in both B2C and B2B marketing.
• Proven track record of delivering growth year in year out.
• Project Management skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Professional and proactive work ethic who thrives in fast paced environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passionate about using your experience and expertise to inspire the team.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
• 10+ years of marketing experience in digitally focused roles.
