Events Operations Specialist.

Our client is an events business specializing in the global financial services sector and they are looking for a sharp, detail-driven Event Operations Specialist to join their team. You will ensure the seamless operation and logistics of events to meet the standards of their clients.

Responsibilities:

• Support everything from planning to execution, working closely with vendors, partners and internal teams to make sure every detail is on point.

• Develop and roll out operational plans to meet client and internal goals.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure venues, AV equipment, catering, and other services.
• Support budget tracking and help manage resources efficiently.
• Be on-site (or on-call for virtual events) to ensure smooth operations from start to finish.
• Review how things went and suggest ways to make future events even better.

Must-haves:

• A degree or diploma in Business, Events, Hospitality, or a related field.
• A strong interest in event operations or prior experience in an events or operations role.
• Super organized, detail-obsessed and great at juggling multiple tasks.
• Solid communication and negotiation skills
• Comfortable working under pressure and rolling with last-minute changes.
