This role has the primary responsibility for revenue generation by creating sales opportunities, developing partnership proposals and supporting the broader team in achieving the successful sales of Esports products and services.

Role: Esports Sales Manager

Location: Singapore

Salary: S$7,500 - S$8,000

Responsibilities

  • Primary focus on sales delivery by displaying a thorough understanding of products and services, and working to a coordinated sales plan to achieve divisional budget targets and strategic objectives
  • Develop strong relationships with prospective new clients via all possible customer touch-points including telephone, email, linked-in, networking events and meetings etc.
  • Prepare sales propositions, generate business cases, plan sales approach
  • Lead sales pitches with both international and domestic clients to understand objectives, build relationships and secure revenue for the business
  • International travel required
  • Continually developing relevant sales prospect lists by using macro and micro market trends, sound product knowledge and deep understanding of brand marketing to strategically identify relevant clients, industries and geographies
  • Work closely with the Esports central team in Germany to develop key value propositions, product opportunities, sales materials and data/insight analytic, to ensure sales propositions are robust and compelling
  • Where necessary, liaise with non-portfolio Esports stakeholders to secure relevant commercial details such as category availability and pricing, rights packages, formal proposals Opportunity to secure exclusive mandates or establish formal representation agreements if commercially appropriate
  • Briefing Sales Insight and Servicing team to prepare presentations as required using consumer insights, media value reporting, and additional proprietary methodologies
  • Provide weekly and regular updates at team sales meetings showcasing activity and pipeline development, business closed and share any insight for potential collaboration with other Sales Team members
  • Keeping an acute and up-to-date understanding of the industry and relevant market intelligence, including the stakeholder landscape; event and competition calendar; new entrants; broadcast platforms; key trade shows and conferences; and utilise this information to identify important trends which can inform strategic and operational
  • Maintaining and developing strong relationships across the Esports stakeholder network, to ensure the organisation is perceived as the most trusted and most knowledgeable eSports marketing agency in the world
  • Liaise with territories and subsidiary agencies where necessary to work collaboratively on relevant projects
  • Display a thorough understanding of the organisation's products and services, both inside and outside the Esports category
  • From time to time, be a contributor to the sales function by supporting the team in approaching prospective new clients for potential sales opportunities in non-eSports areas
  • Be competent with club-specific sales management systems (CRM) and follow any other relevant internal reporting procedures
  • Support the Sales Managers, Sales Directors, Leadership Team and other employees from time to time on various projects
  • Following successful completion of a sales process, work with internal corporate functions such as legal and finance to create robust commercial agreements
  • Represent the organisation to the broader market in a way that is consistent with the high standards and professional approach expected of employees

Requirements

  • Tenacious Sponsorship Sales person
  • 4+ years commercial experience
  • 2+ years exposure to sponsorship sales industry
  • 1+ years exposure to Esports industry
  • Keen enthusiasm and knowledge of the eSports industry
  • Proven in delivering sales success
  • Analytical/strategic ability to identify and articulate a business or marketing case for potential sponsors
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, advanced communication and presenting capabilities
  • Effectively managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Motivated, self-sufficient, and able to self-manage
  • Highly independent, performance-driven, and comfortable with working in a global environment to tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage rights holder relationships
  • Comfortable with some international travel
  • Strong industry references
