Director of Client Services (DCS).

The Role

This exciting position is based in Singapore where you will drive business growth across APAC and spearhead business development efforts of the agency, identifying new opportunities and expanding into new markets to drive revenue growth.

The Person

You are a self-motivated professional with sharp business and commercial acumen, with a deep knowledge of the agency landscape and experience in business development within the B2B industries.

You have the vision and capability to influence the strategic direction of the company and chart its growth path as an integrated brand experience agency.

You will motivate and inspire your team to achieve success. You will roll up your sleeves, set the pace and work with the wider-team to develop go to market strategies, deliver quality pitches, and ensure a client-centric approach to maximise conversions, client satisfaction and retention.

The Requirements

1. Develop business plans to grow strategic accounts; uncover client needs, and align deliverables to best meet these needs to achieve revenue and margin targets
2. Mentor, guide and develop the team in finding solutions for both client and internal challenges, foster knowledge sharing and collaboration across all disciplines internally to deliver quality work
3. Create an effective process and information flow between the client services team and other disciplines
4. Lead new business efforts and determine the optimal staffing assignments for new initiatives
5. Build the team to achieve individual and team revenue targets in accordance with business plans
6. Provide the team with all the necessary tools and training to improve core competencies and continued career growth
7. Conduct high/senior level client negotiations, with clear and substantive speaking, writing, presentation and creative story-telling skills
8. Together with the Director of Marketing, develop and implement marketing strategies in line with the overall business plan to enhance market presence, generate new leads and drive business opportunities
9. Be a brand ambassador to both external and internal audiences, embodying the company's values and advocating for an all inclusive company culture

The Experience and Skills Needed

1. Extensive experience in business development or strategic sales roles
2. Experience in managing and growing business across multiple industries or territories
3. Strategy development, planning and implementation skills
4. Good understanding of the integrated brand experience and digital landscape, as well as virtual and hybrid events and up to date with current trends to be able to cross and up-sell new services to clients
5. Ability to use data-driven insights to drive sales or business growth
6. Financial management skills - sound understanding of cost control and budget
7. Effective negotiation skills
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
9. Sophisticated customer service skills
10. Time management skills - ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines
