We have a current opportunity for a Sales Manager (Australia & New Zealand) on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Sydney Australia.

Role: Sales Manager (Australia and New Zealand)

Salary: AUD$8,000 - $10,000 per month + commission/OTE

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Selling to Tier 1 Independent media/digital agencies and Advertisers in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Designing and implementing new sales and customer acquisition strategies to diversify and expand our client base.
  • Pipeline management from business development to closing.
  • Co-developing and implementing commercial strategies in line with company goals and objectives, with the aim to accelerate growth
  • Educate Advertisers about the benefits of the organisation's solutions. Understand their requirements to ensure their needs are met.
  • Establish transparent and regular communication with prospects and clients to ensure their needs are met and that projects are delivered.
  • Coordinate internally with internal account management teams to ensure best in class publishing and creative solutions for our clients.
  • Collaborating with and coordinating with diverse internal teams (sales, account management, publishing, etc) on pitches, presentations and proposals.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • 2-3 years of work experience, which includes a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in selling digital solutions (experience at a digital ad agency, in the direct sales team of publisher, or digital marketer of global brands would be a plus)
  • Good understanding of the digital marketing landscape
  • Confident listener, communicator and presenter whilst staying humble
  • Committed to over-deliver on clients' expectations and earn their trust
  • Personable, outgoing character to build relationships with media agencies
  • Persistent, resilient and proactive to forge long term relationships
  • Writes and speaks with ease
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written (Business-level)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a cooperative manner based on shared trust and respect
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, startup environment
  • PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills a must
  • BA/BS degree
  • Full working rights in Australia
