Senior Sales Director.

We are working with a leading entertainment agency, looking for a talented VP Sales, to be based in Japan. If you are an experienced sales leader with a passion for new business and the drive to work for a thriving organisation, we would love to hear from you.

In this role, you will be the key representative for the Japan market, and selling directly to brands. You must be client facing, with the ability to handle complex deal sizes.

In this role, you will...

• Establish a commercial strategy for clients in the Asia Pacific region.
• Generate a prospect list with the sales team for the clients you work with.
• Guide the partnership and deal process starting from strategy and planning, pipeline development, prospecting, outreach, negotiation all the way through implementation.
• Build relationships with direct brands.
• Meet with brands to negotiate and secure sponsorship partnerships for clients.

• Develop and build long term partnerships.
• Manage weekly sales call with clients to discuss multiple strategies.

What are we looking for?

• A minimum of 15 years of regional sales experience.
• You will have a good track record as a business development leader, securing new business.
• A good understanding of the marketing and advertising industry, as well as sports marketing is a bonus.
• Prior experience selling to businesses within Japan is a must have.

• Strong understanding of cultural and business practices.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Japanese.
