We have a current opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Executive on a permanent basis.

Role: Sales and Marketing, Executive (Trade Exhibitions)

Location: Tokyo, Japan

Salary range: starting at 5,000,000 JPY per annum (depending on experience)

Our client, a well established international Trade Fair organiser is seeking an experienced and passionate Sales and Marketing executive to join their team in Tokyo, Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement at trade fairs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, exhibitors, and sponsors to facilitate smooth event operations.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Create marketing campaigns and promotional materials to enhance event visibility and attract attendees.
  • Customer Relations: Provide exceptional support to clients and respond to their needs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during event planning and to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Webinar Support: Assist in organizing and managing webinars to support trade fair promotions and attendee engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in sales, marketing, or event coordination.
  • Language Skills: Native-level Japanese proficiency with basic English communication skills in writing and speaking.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage various responsibilities efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fluid environment and manage flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
