We're seeking a Marketing Director in Hong Kong for one of our clients; a growing Fintech and investment platform that are growing their Hong Kong operations. This person will be responsible for spearheading the marketing initiatives in the market to drive growth in new customer acquisition and revenue. The business have had great success in the region and look to do the same in the Hong Kong market.

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Director

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business objectives such as increasing traffic, leads, and customer acquisition.
  • Identify and orchestrate innovative marketing campaigns tailored to local market dynamics across various channels (Content, PR, Social Media, Partnerships, Offline).
  • Establish the company as a leader in digital investment, fostering initiatives to build trust and thought leadership.
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets and expenditures, conducting regular analyses on marketing and campaign performance metrics
  • Lead cross-functional projects including online and offline events, campaigns, and product marketing enhancements.
  • Mentor and develop a team of marketers, including content specialists and design freelancers.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve campaign objectives, collaborating with digital product, operations, investment, and legal/compliance teams.
  • Manage and grow social media presence
  • Regularly monitor and optimize SEO and digital content on the Hong Kong website.

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of marketing experience with a proven track record, preferably in online businesses (e-commerce, SaaS, delivery, travel, ride-hailing, etc.).
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in team management, budget management, and KPI-driven performance.
  • Understanding of local market dynamics, digital media consumption trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Native fluency in Cantonese with proficiency in producing content and copywriting in both English and Chinese.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
