Account Manager (PR).

Our client are a boutique PR and Communications agency, specialising in Arts and Culture with some fantastic global projects for amazing clients! They are seeking an Account Manager to join their Hong Kong team. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with a hands on approach, along with managing one direct report.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of client relationships and work collaboratively with the team
• Overseeing client projects and providing communications guidance and executing media briefs,
• Identifying client objectives and which channels are best to achieve their goals
• Leading on campaign working including drafting and overseeing press releases, Q&As and key documents to a high standard
• Developing and actioning social media plans
• Ensuring timelines are met
• Managing and mentoring an Account Executive
• Managing relationships with journalists, vendors and industry opinion leaders.
• Stay current on industry trends and developments, particularly within arts and culture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Manage budgets and ensure successful execution of client campaigns

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of PR and Comms experience
• PR and Communications agency experience is ideal but not essential
• Experience mentoring juniors is beneficial
• An interest or passion in art and culture is essential
• Experience in lifestyle, arts, culture or travel communications is a plus
• Strong network within regional media, ideally within lifestyle, art or similar
• Excellent client facing and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to be hands on across advising clients and executing campaigns
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Mandarin speaking skills are beneficial as they have mandarin speaking clients
