Account Director (Remote - Based in New York, USA)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our growing team and help shape the future of how global operations and supply chain leaders access insights, data, and peer connections that drive business transformation. In this role, you'll build deep relationships with senior executives across Fortune 1000 organizations, ensuring they receive maximum value from our research and advisory services.

As an Account Director, you'll manage a portfolio of key enterprise accounts-working directly with Chief Operating Officers, Chief Supply Chain Officers, and their leadership teams. You'll focus on delivering exceptional member engagement, driving renewals and growth, and aligning our services with each client's strategic priorities.

This is a remote-based role for candidates located in the United States, with a preference for those based in the New York area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the engagement strategy for a portfolio of enterprise clients, ensuring consistent delivery of value and long-term member satisfaction.

  • Drive retention and growth by proactively engaging clients, understanding evolving priorities, and aligning offerings with their needs.

  • Manage the full commercial cycle for renewals and identify opportunities for account expansion.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives (C-level), serving as a strategic advisor and advocate for their success.

  • Collaborate closely with product, research, and delivery teams to tailor engagement plans and deliver relevant insights and solutions.

  • Analyze engagement data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement, mitigate risks, and drive account growth.

  • Represent the voice of the customer internally-providing insights that help improve the overall member experience.

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of experience in enterprise account management, customer success, or B2B sales within a subscription, research, or SaaS environment.

  • Proven success managing and growing large enterprise accounts, including six-figure deals with C-level executives.

  • Experience leading renewals and negotiating complex contracts with procurement teams.

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to challenge client perspectives and position solutions effectively.

  • Highly motivated, resilient, and adaptable to change in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams to deliver client value.
