Social Media and Influencer Marketing Strategist
Based in Tokyo, Japan

Representing my client, a media agency to headhunt for a Strategist in Social Media and Influencer Marketing. This role is to be based out of Tokyo, Japan. An exciting role with loads of perks, growth and progression.

Your Mission:

• Support all social media and influencer programs
• Build strategic and customized influencer marketing campaigns
• Identify relevant influencers and establish relationships to ensure continued success.
• You will collect and analyze information about different digital media channels, with regards to consumer behavior, circulation, audience trends and the impact of different methods.
• Demonstrate knowledge of media planning process to support Media Planner and Supervisor across a multitude of client deliverables
• Research and coordinate with team to determine the best media outlet mix for our campaigns
• Optimize ad campaigns according to geographic exposure, frequency, time spans and more
• Develop briefs, frameworks, client reports, and key agency documentation under guidance of senior staff.
• Coordinate with Media Ops Team
• Assist various senior staff in execution of internal agency projects.
• Develop client-facing relationship and servicing skills to better provide efficient deployment to our partners and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in an agency, tech startup, marketing, integrated marketing communications, or media sales role.
• Proven experience in digital media/marketing is preferred
• Strong knowledge of media channels and social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
• Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying
• Demonstrates accountability and strong organizational skills
• Strong presentation, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
