Marketing Communications Manager - Japanese speaking.

Are you a marketing professional with a passion for fintech and a flair for storytelling? We need a highly adaptable and self-driven Marketing Communications Manager who is fluent in Japanese to lead and localize marketing initiatives in Japan. In this role, you will ensure Japan's unique market voice is authentically represented within global campaigns, while crafting marketing strategies that resonate deeply with local stakeholders.
You will own full-stack marketing responsibilities from digital campaigns and agency partnerships to social media, content creation, web management, and performance analytics while collaborating closely with global teams to maintain brand consistency and alignment.
Responsibilities:
Localize and integrate global campaigns for the Japanese market, ensuring cultural relevance and brand alignment
Design and execute Japan-specific marketing campaigns across digital, social, PR, and paid channels
Manage relationships with local boutique agencies to ensure top-quality, cost-effective campaign delivery
Lead Japan's social media and digital community engagement, creating original content aligned with global messaging
Produce high-quality digital content (blogs, newsletters, videos, infographics) to establish the company as a fintech thought leader
Maintain and optimize the Japan-specific website section, ensuring SEO best practices and performance tracking
Analyze campaign and digital performance metrics, providing insights to continuously optimize marketing effectiveness
Collaborate cross-functionally with the Japan Lead, HQ teams, and other stakeholders to drive ecosystem engagement and event promotion
What We're Looking For:
6-10 years of marketing and communications experience, ideally in B2B, fintech, technology, or innovation sectors
Native-level Japanese and proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Proven success in planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
Expertise in social media management, CMS, SEO, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.)
Experience managing agencies and working with global teams across time zones
Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to marketing
Excellent interpersonal, project management, and storytelling skills
