Head of Sales (Events)

Are you ready to lead a driven sales team and drive revenue growth in the heart of Saudi Arabia's booming events industry? Our client, a global event company specializing in hospitality sector events, is seeking a driven Head of Sales to join their team in KSA.

Our client is renowned for organizing renowned events that bring together senior-level investors, owners, developers, operators, and advisory firms. Their events serve as catalysts for deal-making and real estate developments across various sectors, including hotels, restaurants, and airport route developments. With a focus on innovation and strategic vision, our client has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of hospitality in Saudi Arabia and beyond.

The Opportunity:

As the Head of Sales, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of executing an storng sales strategy to maximize revenue generation. This role requires a driven leader with experience in driving sales success, inspiring teams, and fostering strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall Objectives:

  • Report directly to the Commercial Director and oversee the achievement of revenue targets for Future Hospitality Summit (Saudi).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement annual sales campaigns and product innovations.
  • Ensure exceptional client outcomes, customer satisfaction, and high client retention rates through effective collaboration with the Client Success team.

Campaign & Product Development:

  • Lead the development of go-to-market sales campaigns for the flagship event.
  • Drive the creation of new products and digital offerings in collaboration with event teams.
  • Design and execute onsite rebooking strategies for Future Hospitality Summit and launch new adjacent events within the market.

Reporting:

  • Provide accurate forecasts and use data analytics to optimize sales campaigns.
  • Monitor key analytics to enhance long-term client relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Sales Team Management:

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of Sales Managers and Executives.
  • Conduct weekly forecasting sessions and annual appraisals for team members.
  • Implement sales productivity improvement initiatives and processes.

Key Account / Personal Sales:

  • Lead sponsorship sales for Future Hospitality Summit, closing major deals to meet revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to upsell across the company portfolio and develop your personal brand within the industry.

Location: This position is based in Saudi Arabia and offers some flexibility to work remotely.
