The World's largest information technology publishing company is searching for a Director, International Sales to work within their rapidly growing ASEAN sales team based in Singapore.

The Director of International Sales will join one of the fastest growing business units and will be focused on taking the organisation's Media, Data & Marketing Services proposition to direct clients across the ASEAN Market.

The successful candidate will know how to identify, open, engage, and close sophisticated B2B buyers as well as manage that customer on an ongoing basis.

The successful candidate will be required to build upon existing relationships and critically, generate and nurture new ones.

The role is very much a hunter-gatherer, expect to generate your own new business, work new in-bound leads and grow existing accounts.

Role: Director International Sales

Location: Singapore

Salary: SGD$8,000 per month (up to SGD$30K annually bonus upon meeting established KPIs)

Responsibilities and Experience

- Ability to grow digital media, data, events and services revenues from direct clients

- The role is a blend of account management and new businesses. The successful candidate must know how to manage existing accounts to increase spend and drive growth from nett-new opportunities

- Being able to find new opportunities from own initiate as well as responding to new inbound leads and seeing them through to closure is a crucial part of this role

- A sound understanding of B2B sales process and the value of first party data

- This role requires strategic sales capability so the successful candidate will be comfortable in presenting complex solutions and proprietary research to large groups and managing and answering questions

- Ideally, an ability to sell integrated solutions across content, digital, data, events and especially demand generation

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and own the sales process

- Build effective relationships with clients, challenging the status quo to achieve the desired outcome

- Effective at problem solving and managing expectations

- 5 or more years of experience in carrying a sales target within a similar B2B environment

- Worked within a fast moving and pressurised environment

- Managing one's own pipeline and comfortable with large targets

- Resourceful, motivated and enjoys the sales process

- Knows the current media landscape with a strong passion in Technology
