SENIOR EVENT MANAGER

FIRST is now looking for their next top Senior Event Manager to represent them on-site within a well-known tech company.

THE ROLE

You will have a strong operational understanding and practical experience in event logistics and venue management, to work with internal teams to coordinate the logistical needs of the event space.

• Collaborate closely with all departments to develop and be responsible for event requirements and deliverables, including but not limited to communications, calendars, registration needs, feedback surveys, and wrap-up reports.
• Coordinate with the venue, planning and managing all aspect of the event, including audio and visual, décor, catering, security, entertainment, prizes/swag, and transportation.
• Manage various programs and events throughout a range of industries with innovation, creativity, and strategy while delivering top-notch creative execution.
• Act as a point of contact for clients while an event is taking place.
• Train new hires and organize their training and shadowing programs. During new hires' orientation periods, act as their point of contact
• Occasional travel for site visits and VIP events
• Manage high touch events & acts as Lead Event Manager on global events involving multi-region support

ALL ABOUT YOU:

• 5 - 7+ years' event management and/or corporate meeting planning experience preferred
• Strong meeting coordination experience for meetings/conferences ranging between 50 - 300+ people
• A Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field is preferred
• Experience working on large and complex databases

• Highly organised, able to multitask and meet deadlines through excellent time management skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
