Senior Conference Producer.

We are looking for a superstar Senior Conference Producer to join an expanding company that support some of the most successful trade shows globally. Their events have seen significant growth both in sales and delegate attendance and holds a team of the most dedicated and talented people in the industry.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in producing conferences and will be a commercially minded, level-headed and organised person with excellent time-management, interpersonal communication, and strong multi-tasking skills.

For this role you must be passionate about the events industry and have the ability to quickly understand each market to draw up lists of viable and appropriate speakers, you must have strong diplomatic negotiating skills to secure speakers and tackle any potential gatekeepers.

The role: The Senior Conference Producer will work with the events team to develop, produce, and deliver the conference agendas covering the latest trends in the industry and will hold responsibility to deliver all aspects of conference content across a programme's life cycle as well as an interesting range of digital content.

What you'll need

• Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in producing conferences
• Recruiting 200 speakers per annum (min) for a large trade show conference
• Good IT skills. You will be using content management systems, databases, and email software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - written and verbal
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to quickly understand a market and draw up list of appropriate speakers
• Ability to persuade senior execs to give up their time to attend our events as speakers
• Diplomatic skills to liaise with and where necessary get through gate keepers
• Ability to run a budget
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent attention to detail
• Patient and calm under pressure
• Get on well with people from all walks of life (and the ability to network and make new friends quickly!)
• Flexibility to accommodate extended working hours as needed around key show times
• A fabulous sense of humour
