Looking for Regional Performance Director, APAC for a global performance marketing agency. As a senior leadership position within the APAC region, this role will allow you to be a strong voice, advocate and expert for performance media in regional pitches, key client meetings, within internal agency engagements and across the industry.

Working directly with the CEO, partnering with agency leads and APAC performance market leads, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing to ensure best in class strategy, management, and activation of our APAC performance media.

Key responsibilities

BUSINESS

  • Engage in leadership meetings across agencies to contribute to the success of the business
  • Drive growth for performance media across APAC, working with performance leads in each market to set growth goals and a plan to deliver against these
  • Collaborate with senior team members to discover new client opportunities
  • Build successful relationships with platform partners - Google / Facebook / TikTok
  • Billings & budget forecast management

PERFORMANCE

  • Establish best practice in strategy, management and activation and work with the local performance leads to implement this across APAC
  • Ensure total compliance on relevant certifications and training for all performance teams
  • Establish, monitor, and enable high performance across agency standards, product adoption and innovation expectations
  • Work with key platform partners to drive beta tests and on-going innovation to keep agency at the front of performance media
  • Recommend new opportunities to improve key client results and solve client challenges

CLIENT

  • Lead performance component of key regional pitches; actively involved in Tier 1 APAC clients
  • Own paid performance thought leadership and actively contribute to wider digital strategies with both the client and agency stakeholders
  • Lead performance focus meetings - annuals reviews, QBRs and large project-based meetings
  • Proactive in presenting data opportunities, new solutions and or potential tests with vendors
  • Actively participate in agency partner strategy & planning

PEOPLE

  • Provide strong leadership across a team of highly skilled performance experts across APAC
  • Ensure consistent communication to all APAC Performance Leaders
  • Develop a strong working relationship with agency counterparts
  • Ensure a professional, supportive and inclusive working environment
  • Manage and encourage further education and certification of performance teams

PRODUCT

  • Contribute to the performance product roadmap, to remain at the front of digital, product and technology innovation
  • Identify and own initiatives to develop the performance offering ​at a regional level
  • Work with the Heads of Product to build & nurture strong relationships with agency leaders, media and tech partners
  • Participate on the creation of the agency training & development program to improve performance knowledge, capability and delivery for all stakeholders at a national level

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience across paid digital performance channels (ideally paid search & social)
  • Sound knowledge across digital media and the latest industry trends
  • Clear communicator with the ability to positively influence stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience in growing and developing key client relationships
  • Good mentor and an inspiration to team members - motivating the team to contribute, encouraging further education, and exceed expectations
