Marketing Director.

Our client is a global gaming and entertainment company, headquartered in the US with a fantastic brand name. They are looking for a marketing director based in Sydney to cover the ANZ market. The ideal candidate will have leadership and marketing strategy experience for a global brand, whilst focusing on the ANZ market.

Key Responsibilities as Marketing Director

• Developing and managing the Strategic marketing plan across all channels across ANZ
• Driving a great team of marketers across media buying, TV, OOH, influencer marketing and performance marketing
• Leading a team 4 direct reports; coaching and encouraging them to perform and enabling the team to think independently and drive initiatives.
• Managing budgets for campaigns and platforms used
• Managing and leading on key stakeholder engagement and liaising with global teams on localised marketing execution, ensuring Go to Market campaigns align with the global strategy and business goals
• Liaising between media and creative teams, along with performance marketing, commercial and analytics teams
• Where needed, collaborating with finance teams on financial planning
• Researching and analysing industry trends and developments

Requirements of the marketing lead:

• 10-12+ years of marketing experience
• Experience leading a team is essential - ideally 2+ direct reports minimum
• ANZ marketing experience is essential
• Proven ability with Go to Market campaigns and delivering global Marketing strategy and goals to ANZ market
• Gaming experience is ideal, otherwise Consumer Tech experience is suitable
• Coverage of forecasting and management of budgets
• Confident personality and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work with global teams
• Experience building a marketing strategy
• Strong understanding of brand positioning
