Marketing Manager, LiveOps - Japan
I am representing our client who is a fantastic global gaming and entertainment brand headquartered in the US.
They are seeking a Mobile LiveOps Marketing Manager in Japan to focus on local game communities in the Japan market.
The role:
- Manager assigned game communities, own and improve performance of company's social channels.
- Craft content strategies for optimal engagement.
- Facilitate internal & external communication between community, developers, publishers and other teams.
- Develop and implement community events and feedback loops.
- Collaborate regionally to ensure consistent GTM strategies.
- Manage & drive influencer marketing campaigns.
- Analyse community data and in-game metrics to gain insights.
- Manager budgets and operational expenses efficiently.
Your experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in game software or relevant B2C content and entertainment.
- Strong community insights, particularly for Japanese strategy games.
- Expert in all major SNS/community platforms - Discord, YouTube, Reddit, Twitter etc)
- Understands YouTube ops, algorithms, SEO optimisation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese.
