Event Specialist.

Our client is a global non-profit organisation with more than 120,000 members across 134 countries. They are looking for an Event Specialist to join their APAC team and take the lead on event planning and project management within the Oil & Gas industry.

On top of that, as an Event Specialist, you will also be responsible for budget management as well as supporting and contributing to strategic direction and implementation of the APAC event portfolio.

Role: Event Specialist

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Salary: RM$5,000 - RM$8,000 monthly

As the Event Specialist, you will work closely with Event Managers to prepare, coordinate and execute physical and virtual events.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Event Managers to plan, coordinate and execute events
• Provide administrative and secretariat support
• Ensure budget compliance
• Manage event registration
• Vendor and supplier management
• Speaker management
• Pre-event and post-event reporting

Qualifications:

• 5 years' experience in event and secretariat management or conference management
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Ability in written and spoken Bahasa and/or Mandarin is advantageous
