Event Operations Manager.

Our client is a company that specializes in creating impactful audio-visual event experiences. They have a successful track record spanning 45 years and operate in the live, virtual, and hybrid events space.

We're looking for an Event Operations Manager who will manage end-to-end event production including technical coordination, event setup, AV services, streaming and management. This role will be working closely with the Creative Director and Senior Account Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Project management: Work with the project lead to create technical proposals, oversee event production, and manage budgets.
• Technical expertise: Suggest innovative technologies and offer technical guidance.
• Cost control: Control costs, handle budgets, and maintain project records.
• Supplier management: Oversee third-party suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure the quality of their services.
• Administrative tasks: Manage administrative tasks related to health and safety documentation, financial reports, and event briefs.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in the MICE industry
• Experience in end-to-end event management
• Understanding of audio-visual solutions
• Understand and experience using AutoCAD, Sketchup, Vectorworks and other event-related software will be an advantage.
