Event Director.

Aspire is excited to be partnering with a global B2B media business focused on the hospitality and travel sectors. The Singapore team are currently looking for an Event director to oversee the success and strategy of a newly launched APAC exhibition including oversight of Operations, Marketing and Sales.

THE ROLE

As Event Director, you will support the development and strategy behind the exhibition plans

• Supporting and working closely with the Marketing, Operations and Sales teams
• Collaborating with the Managing Director and leadership on forecasting, budgets and growth expectations
• Ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of events
• Keeping on top of industry trends
• Working with global teams in UK, US and Singapore to ensure global alignment for events
• Contributing to a great work environment which attracts and retains high quality staff

ALL ABOUT YOU

• At least 10 years of experience with 5+ years of experience in a strategic leadership role within events
• Overall events experience touching on elements of management, operations, planning and sales
• Exposure to exhibitions/shows is preferable within the travel industry if possible but not essential
• Experience leading high performing teams
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and sales skills
• Adaptable and creative with the ability to problem solve
• Highly organised, able to multitask and meet deadlines through excellent time management skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
