Aspire is dedicated in the search for the new hires with a top data analytics solution provider. We are searching for a Business Development Director to be part of this exciting expansion with great passion in selling analytics solutions to high tech industry such as Blockchain, AI, fintech etc..

This brand new role will be tasked to develop potential business and build strong relationships with clients in Greater China region.

Responsibilities

  • Hunter approach to initiating conversations with prospective clients from "cold" levels. Highly credible in front of senior/C-suite executives of Fortune 500 companies, PE professional, hedge fund managers, and others. Able to rapidly build professional rapport
  • Comfortable with aligning client's ambiguous business challenges with the features of product - which helps clients identify critical information on emergence of digital natives, promising start-ups, technology led innovations, latest sector trends, consume insights, and venture capital portfolio investments - and help them convert the product into success
  • Effective at working with other stakeholders to ensure that the right resources and expertise are in place pitching and nurturing clients
  • Identify creative strategies to engage customers and produce incremental revenue
  • Utilise initiatives to further develop their own knowledge of solutions and how to clearly communicate them
  • Managing a sales target of circa $1-2M

Qualifications

  • 10+ years B2B sales experience (with at least 3 years proven track record of consistently initiating & closing deals with a minimum price point of 50K to 200K), of driving client outreach initiatives with tenacity and persuasiveness to make a direct revenue impact
  • Experience in selling data-driven SaaS solutions to the Corporate Strategy, Innovation, M&A/VC, Digital Transformation teams across sectors
  • Capable of managing long sales cycle (3-6 months)and consistently "nurturing" leads. Must be able to present and lead discovery meetings by using consultative questioning, active listening and a "challenger" mind set, in order to steer conversations
  • Proven ability to cross/up-sell solutions to newly formed relationships and existing accounts
