We are working with a leading entertainment agency who is looking for a VP of Sales to join their team in Korea. If you are an experienced sales leader with a passion for new business and the drive to work for a thriving organisation, we would love to hear from you!

In this role, you will be the representative for the Korean market and selling directly to brands. You will be client facing and have the ability to handle complex deal sizes.

Responsiblities:

  • Establish a commercial strategy for clients in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Generate a prospect list with the sales team for the clients you work with.
  • Guide the partnership and deal process starting from strategy and planning, pipeline development, prospecting, outreach, negotiation all the way through implementation.
  • Build relationships with direct brands.
  • Meet with brands to negotiate and secure sponsorship partnerships for clients.
  • Develop and build long term partnerships.
  • Manage weekly sales call with clients to discuss multiple strategies.

What are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 10-12 years of regional sales experience.
  • You will have a good sales track record as a business development leader, securing new business.
  • A good understanding of the marketing and advertising industry, as well as sports marketing is a bonus.
  • Prior experience selling to businesses within Korea is a MUST.
  • Strong understanding of cultural and business practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Korean.
