Venue Sourcing Manager.

Our client is looking for a Venue Sourcing Manager to add a new layer of experience to their Conference brands.

In this role you will work alongside project teams and with their clients to ensure each in-person event is placed in a top-notch location at the best price.

You are an experienced negotiator who understands the preference of senior executives and able to develop relationships with premium hotels/properties for the organisation's events & conferences.

Role: Venue Sourcing Manager

Location: Singapore

Salary: S$4,000 - S$5,000 per month

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with project teams to understand event objectives, agenda, flow and space requirements. Send RFPs to properties that will be a great fit and field responses. You have a solid understanding of the region and have experience working in a multicultural environment

• Qualify options which suit the taste and preference of the executive group participating and make recommendations. Prepare presentations as applicable. Be consultative in your approach

• Use your existing contacts and build new relationships with clients, vendors, NSMs, CVBs and sales teams

• Negotiate the best deals considering the meeting/event objectives, procurement practices, norms and expectations. Ensure no detail is left out

• Be nimble, problem solve and get creative. After all, the venue & experience can make or break the event

• You will be sourcing venues at premium properties for private luncheon/dining & mid-large conferences

You should be great at:

• Being adaptable while managing multiple projects, requirements and locations. You have exceptional problem-solving skills and are calm under pressure

• Ability to work with a multi-cultural team located globally

• Google Workspace/Drive, Zoom Conference & Microsoft office proficiency

• Ideal candidate possesses 5+ years in a venue procurement, purchasing or venue sourcing role
