Sensory Research Manager.

Our client is a leading global research agency specialising in consumer experiences within the Food & Beverage and other consumer goods sectors. They spearhead industry innovation, collaborating with over half of the world's top 100 F&B brands.

With a team of specialists in research, sensory analysis, and data science, they maintain a robust global presence, operating across offices in APAC, Africa, Europe, and the Americas.

They are now hiring a Sensory Research Manager specialising in Qualitative research to join their team in Shanghai, China. As part of the APAC team, the candidate will report to a manager based in Singapore. (Occasional travel to other APAC markets might be required for projects not limited to China.)

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate across teams for diverse client projects
• Offer sensory insights for qualitative initiatives, aid in writing sensory proposals
• Assist in product stimulus selection with client teams for project alignment
• Lead focus groups, interviews, and workshops as needed
• Coordinate with international partners, participate in global fieldwork
• Create qualitative sensory outputs, contribute to enhancing MMR visuals
• Develop screeners, guides, and field materials
• Engage in sensory debriefs and client activities

Your experience:

• 3+ years experience in sensory research (Qualitative) ideally in Food & Beverage
• A relevant university degree
• Proactive and able to travel to different regions
