Senior Relationship Manager.

Our client is a leading global media company publishing news, analysis and unique fund manager performance information for the world's professional investor community, helping them make the best decisions about where to place their client's money.
They are now looking for a sociable, driven and organised individual to join their team Audience Development Team as a Senior Relationship Manager to build and extend their network of relationships with bankers and UHNW/HNW clients across Asia.
You will be expected to maintain and grow our engagement with key fund buyers within private banks, wealth managers, independent asset managers, family offices and insurance companies across Asia (role based out of Singapore).
The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, fearless on the telephone, and confident in meeting smart, powerful and wealthy investors often many years your senior.
You will work well within a team, but also have the self-motivation to independently manage tasks and the self-confidence and professional manner to represent the organisation.
As Covid lifts, you will also be expected to frequently travel around the region to develop existing relationships and establish new ones.

Salary: S$9,000 - S$10,000 per month
Responsibilities:
Your role will focus on developing relationships with key bankers, C-suite leaders, and end-clients throughout Asia.
The Audience Development team is seen as the engine room of market intelligence for the company and as such you will be regularly meeting members of our audience with the aim to profile them in articles and secure their participation in events and thought leadership research.
1. Relationship building - engage and network with buy-side bankers and investors independently
2. Speaker recruitment - confirm high-profile industry figures to speak at our events
3. Delegate recruitment - recruitment of bankers to our invite-only, free-of-charge virtual and physical events
4. Event participation - attend events and selected industry functions
5. Editorial comments - arrange interviews and confirm written and video comments from key industry figures
6. Database management - ensure CRM system is updated with clean data
7. Research response - gather response and information for research projects
Skills
This role requires an effective communicator able to confidently work with individuals at all levels of seniority.
Relationship building will be second nature to you and you'll enjoy meeting people and influencing their behaviour. People would describe the you as;

5. At least 6 years' experience in a client facing role
6. Experience working within B2B media and some basic knowledge in investments/capital markets would be an advantage
