Would you like to work for one of the world's leading financial services training provider?

Our client is the Financial and Professional Services division of an international business-information group listed on the London Stock Exchange and they are now looking for a Senior Client Relationship Manager (SCRM) to join their team.

You would be consulting with new and existing clients to understand their learning requirements, present innovative client solutions and close new business on behalf of the company. In addition, SCRM ia expected to influence product development, pro-actively engage in sales and marketing initiatives and support the onboarding of new faculty.

You will be both the Business Developer and Account Manager for APAC with primary responsibilities for the generation of new revenues from the region as well as managing and growing existing client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a personal portfolio of business of new and existing clients.
  • Execute the sales strategy for the company's platform in APAC
  • Build deep relationships that extend beyond the transactional and elevate towards Trusted Advisor status
  • Consult with clients in collaboration with the faculty and the Chief Learning Officer to design complex learning programmes which blend the various capabilities of the company and incorporate the capabilities of the wider business
  • Present formal pitches and respond to complex RFPs with highly professional proposals, obtaining robust client feedback at all stages irrespective of outcome
  • Regularly and proactively prospect new account opportunities across multiple channels including networking, cold calls/campaigns and via lead gen contacts.
  • Work closely with Marketing to drive new campaign initiatives which support all parts of the inhouse business
  • Act as a role model for junior members of the team, supporting them in their business development and client relationship activities
  • Consult with the Commercial Director on overall strategy for the Learning business providing client and personal insights, as well as recommendations
  • Identify and capitalise on partnering opportunities both with the parent company and with external bodies
  • Influence product strategy by feeding back client and market insights to the Chief Learning Officer
  • Efficiently research target accounts and populate Account Plans in Salesforce
  • Accurately record all activity, contact information and communications in Salesforce in line with the company's GDPR policy
  • Continuously develop a high level of domain knowledge (banking & financial services + learning and development) in order to have meaningful client conversations

Experience:

  • Experience in a consultative B2B sales role for learning solutions in financial services, including subscription-based (enterprise-level) sales
  • Sufficient gravitas to be able to engage and consult with senior stakeholders as well as build rapport and relationships across all other levels within an organization
  • Sufficient knowledge of latest learning techniques and technology to be able to independently design client solutions that impress senior learning professionals
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues across the organization such that these relationships enhance the Learning offering
  • Successful business development track record generating new logo sales
  • Warmth, presence and gravitas in face-to-face client meetings
  • A proactive approach towards making outbound client communications
  • Excellent Business English skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
  • Excellent organisation, time-management & prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously to targets and multi-task in order to achieve success
  • Strong networking and collaboration skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • A robust and positive 'can-do' attitude
  • High levels of intellectual curiosity, self-awareness and diligence
  • A determination to deliver first class service to clients
