My client, a leading global conference series renowned for connecting decision-makers within the crypto and Web3 ecosystem, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a confidential opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the crypto industry, with a focus on cultivating strategic partnerships, driving business growth, and executing impactful event strategies.

!Based in Dubai. Must have an existing work visa or be able to obtain self-sponsorship and work on a consultancy basis!

About This Role:

My client is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager who thrives in an independent and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, with a passion for the crypto and Web3 space. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of projects and contribute directly to the growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships and sponsorships to drive business growth.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and aligning them with the company's offerings.
  • Collaborate with the team to create and execute a comprehensive event strategy, including attendee acquisition, sponsorship packages, and promotional activities.
  • Take full ownership of projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, legal, and finance to achieve company goals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging technologies within the Web3, AI, and fintech spaces.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in business development, sales, or related roles. Candidates from Investment Banking and Venture Capital will also be considered.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • A deep understanding of and passion for the Web3/crypto industry; familiarity with AI is a plus.
  • Existing network within the crypto or AI space is advantageous.
