Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer - Remote.

A leading global trading brokerage is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer to join them remotely.

The company were founded in 2008 and has grown to over 400 employees worldwide and 8 global offices.

The role would see you become responsible for the design, configuration, enhancement, maintenance, and optimization of Marketing Cloud and integrations both current and future.

Working alongside the Head of Retention, you will be responsible for delivering a Martec Roadmap via three separate platforms. The overarching objective is to engage all clients from a single customer view, via the 3rd party platform only and migrate away from Marketing Cloud and SendGrid.

This role will be instrumental in developing and executing this roadmap from a technical, data and operational perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Development and execution of the company's Martec migration Roadmap. Ensure this migration is successful and within defined timelines.
• Develop a deep understanding of the company's data model and the relationship between SalesForce SalesCloud, Salesforces Marketing Cloud, Optimove and the company's data warehouse.
• Maintaining and monitoring data synchronisation between integrated systems/platforms.
• Ensure validation & QA on all Data extensions and relevant data-related projects connected to the marketing department.
• Development and coding work for marketing journeys, system implementations and technical integrations.
• Optimisation of customer journeys, workflows and processes to ensure business KPIs are met.
• Create and build email templates in Salesforce.com and Marketing Cloud which are best in class, tested and optimised.

Experience:

• A sound technical understanding of SFMC with 2+ years' proven record in SFMC
• Proficient with AMP Scripting, CSS, HTML and developing SQL.
• Experience working with APIs.
• Experience building integrations with other systems for seamless data flow.
• Experience with a range of marketing technologies.
• Project management experience.
• Good level of documentation. Ability to scope, define and manage work packages.
