Project Manager, Media Tech.

Responsibilities

• Must be a natural leader and a people person, someone who derives fulfilment by influencing others to be successful
• To create from scratch new structures and processes, as well as to identify the current successful processes to help onboard and serve Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports to government agencies and ministries
• To accurately scope and develop the best workflow to serve the upcoming clients - use your business acumen to identify key deliverables for government clients and find the best practical solution to serve their requests
• To manage and build synergies and best practices between internal Analysts and a complex network of Vendors
• Drive profitability of the government team by setting milestones and short-term goals
• Able to assist the team in onboarding new clients, whilst identifying the key issues and steps needed for a successful onboarding process
• Be a culture champion - assist to build and drive the overall culture and vision of the team by leading by example, while also nurturing the development and potential of each team member
• Assisting in managing a portfolio of key commercial clients, leveraging upon a high level of business acumen and client servicing skills
• Collaborate across different teams and stay up-to-date on industry changes, to maintain an edge in proposing best-in-class media insights reports and deliverables for clients
• Analyse data sets and review standard of reporting / project deliverables done by the teams, ensuring that reports are sent to clients within SLAs and in an efficient, accurate and timely manner
• Have strong business acumen to make strategic decisions to move the business forward

Requirements

• Ideally 4 years' experience as a team lead or team manager, managing 5 or more people, alternatively running a large project team and managing a complex Network of Vendors
• Proven ability to build new and effective processes that allow the business to scale up in a sustainable way
• Ideally with relevant industry experience in media insights / reporting & analytics / traditional or social media / digital marketing / media agencies & public relations / digital marketing / marketing & communications
• Some knowledge of SaaS-based media tech and platforms, and media measurement KPIs
• You are a leader with vision, someone motivated by the success of your team and comfortable being a mentor to a team of 20+ Media Analysts
• Excellent leadership, consensus-building, and conflict-resolution skills - you have a successful track record in building and influencing team.
• Proactive with the ability to work on multiple projects with changing priorities in a deadline-oriented environment with minimum supervision
• Creative and entrepreneurial, you apply critical thinking to solve business problems using data and analytics - by looking at numbers, trends and coming to smart conclusions based on the findings
• Strong analytical and logical skills - able to translate data into actionable insights in the simplest and most concise manner, have an eye for detail, and ask "what does this mean?" to the data
• Exposure to statistical modelling and data mining techniques, and analytical tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
• Familiar with data visualization and dashboard tools, Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, etc.
• Some familiarity with different research methodologies and basic analysis methods
