Project Manager (Conferences).

Our client is a Singapore based Professional Conference Organiser with a commitment to building its operations here in Singapore.

Role: Project Manager

Industry: Events (Conferences and Exhibitions)

Location: Singapore (fully on-site)

Salary: S$5,000 - S$6,000 per month + AWS + Bonus (subject to individual and company performance)

Job purpose:

As a Project Manager, you will plan, direct, and manage the project operations to achieve desired targets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, direct, and monitor the operations of events (conferences and/or exhibitions)
• Plan, manage, and control the budget for executing the operations and logistical requirements
• Create and devise innovative and cost-efficient solutions to operational issues
• Ensure expenditure is planned, managed, and controlled within the appropriate limits laid down in the business plan
• Plan and implement effective cost measures, including new revenue streams from third-party suppliers/ contractors, to increase profitability.
• Provide leadership, support, coaching, training, and direction
• On-site venue management ensuring smooth running of the event.
• Meet regularly with all relevant contractors and suppliers to ensure that services are provided as required.
• Follow & implement the Company Policies & Procedures
• Implement duties in accordance with Quality standards, Security, and Health and safety requirements. Continually seek opportunities to develop self and, if applicable, subordinates.
• Implement any other duties as assigned
• Other duties as needed or required and deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgement

Experience:

• Proven record in conference or exhibition operations management.
• Project management, people management, and budget formulation skills are required.
• At least 2 to 3 years of event operations experience
• Proven leadership experience and capabilities
• Excellent Computer literacy, including AutoCAD
