Our client is a Singapore based Professional Conference Organiser with a commitment to building its operations here in Singapore.
Role: Project Manager
Industry: Events (Conferences and Exhibitions)
Location: Singapore (fully on-site)
Salary: S$5,000 - S$6,000 per month + AWS + Bonus (subject to individual and company performance)
Job purpose:
As a Project Manager, you will plan, direct, and manage the project operations to achieve desired targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, direct, and monitor the operations of events (conferences and/or exhibitions)
- Plan, manage, and control the budget for executing the operations and logistical requirements
- Create and devise innovative and cost-efficient solutions to operational issues
- Ensure expenditure is planned, managed, and controlled within the appropriate limits laid down in the business plan
- Plan and implement effective cost measures, including new revenue streams from third-party suppliers/ contractors, to increase profitability.
- Provide leadership, support, coaching, training, and direction
- On-site venue management ensuring smooth running of the event.
- Meet regularly with all relevant contractors and suppliers to ensure that services are provided as required.
- Follow & implement the Company Policies & Procedures
- Implement duties in accordance with Quality standards, Security, and Health and safety requirements. Continually seek opportunities to develop self and, if applicable, subordinates.
- Implement any other duties as assigned
- Other duties as needed or required and deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgement
Experience:
- Proven record in conference or exhibition operations management.
- Project management, people management, and budget formulation skills are required.
- At least 2 to 3 years of event operations experience
- Proven leadership experience and capabilities
- Excellent Computer literacy, including AutoCAD
