Aspire Middle East is representing a leading events agency based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, known for delivering high-impact events with precision and creativity. We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the entire project life cycle, from pitch to post-event wrap-up.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex events, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver extraordinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Manage the full life cycle of a project, from initial pitch through to successful delivery and post-event analysis.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, suppliers, licensing authorities, venues, and other stakeholders. Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project.
Meeting Participation: Attend and present in internal and external meetings to discuss project status, progress, and challenges.
Project Planning: Create, update, and share project plans and status reports regularly. Ensure workflows and processes are optimized for smooth operations and delivery.
Team Management: Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training, and managing the project team. Nurture talent and support team members to achieve their full potential.
Operational Oversight: Develop and manage the operational plan, including build-up, public, and breakdown phases, ensuring high standards in the overall participant experience.
Budget Management: Own and update the project budget regularly to reflect actual and forecasted costs and revenues, ensuring positive commercial performance.
Post-Event Wrap-Up: Responsible for final budget reconciliation, post-event reporting, and debriefing to close the project.

Requirements:

Minimum 10+ years of event management experience, specifically in delivering complex events.
Proven success in strategic project direction including planning, resource allocation, negotiation, and reporting.
Experience in events, with the ability to manage commercial aspects such as budgeting, P&L, and sponsorship.
Comfortable managing event production, operations, and logistics with a deep understanding of marketing and sponsorship integration.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
Previous experience working in the Middle East is essential.
