We have a current opportunity for a Marketing Manager (Trade Exhibition) on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Singapore. For further information about this position please apply.

Role: Marketing Manager (Trade Exhibition)

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Marketing Director

Salary: S$5,000 to S$6,000 per month

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote a global series of B2B professional trade shows, be responsible in implementing innovative marketing strategies, and has a keen enthusiasm for leveraging new marketing channels and marketing technology solutions.

This role requires a strong understanding of exhibitions/conference space, B2B marketing principles, excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously and within deadlines.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and tactics.
  • Writes and speaks with ease in English. Fluency in Chinese is a welcome asset.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with marketing automation software (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the core team in Singapore and Hong Kong plus the wider team (external vendors/event managers in China, India and Thailand) to deliver the marketing strategy as set out by Marketing team on each show.
  • Project-manage tasks assigned to you, including - oversee campaign time-lines, implement marketing and communication activities, provide data-driven ideas for marketing activities, ensure comprehensive tracking and analysis of marketing campaign performance with key metrics, professional support for on-site event marketing activities, and meet targets for visitor attendance and event experience.
  • Ensure the integrity and consistency of our brand value and identity.

Strategic Planning:

  • To be part of strategic planning process, and be able to independently work with external vendors for each trade show, with clear objectives, audience focus, and deep comprehension of messaging and various promotional channels
  • Collaborate with internal team members (sales, operations, finance) to align marketing efforts with overall business goals

Campaign Execution and Delivery:

  • Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (including email, social media, content marketing, video marketing paid advertising, PR) to drive awareness and visitors registrations.
  • Develop compelling marketing materials (brochures, ads, presentations) that highlight the value proposition of each trade show.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, and performance tracking.
  • Using social media platforms to engage with target audiences, build communities, and generate buzz around events.
  • To work independently with appointed external vendors from diverse backgrounds and ensure smooth and timely delivery of planned campaigns, while adhering to brand guidelines and effectively communicate our brand value proposition.
  • To make use of marketing automation platforms and other martech solutions to streamline campaign workflows, conduct personalized campaign messaging and optimize lead nurturing.
  • Open to explore and experiment with new marketing channels and tactics to identify innovative ways to reach and engage target audiences.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze marketing campaign performance using key metrics, utilize data to make informed decisions and improve future campaigns.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies, optimize campaigns, and identify opportunities for growth.

Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors, including agencies and contractors

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, operations, and finance teams

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the trade show or events industry.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel to trade show locations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, especially during key show times
