Are you passionate about marketing conferences and paid events? Waterfront Conference Company, part of the Freshwater Group, is looking for a Marketing Manager to drive delegate acquisition and revenue growth across a portfolio of high-profile sector events in planning, energy, ports, rail, and infrastructure.

With around 20 events annually-from flagship 300-attendee conferences to specialist masterclasses-you'll manage end-to-end marketing campaigns across strategy, data, content, email, CRM, social media, and paid advertising. You'll also assist in developing a Marketing Executive and work closely with sales, digital, and design teams.

What you'll do:

🎯 Create and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns that attract delegates and meet targets
📧 Manage email marketing, CRM, database building, and data-informed reporting
🌐 Oversee website content and social media (LinkedIn & X/Twitter)
🤝 Work cooperatively with sales and partners to increase sponsorship and lead generation
📊 Monitor campaign performance and improve strategies
👥 Assist and develop a Marketing Executive
⏰ Manage budgets, timelines, and post-event reviews

Who you are:

✔️ Proven commercial conference marketing or paid events experience (essential)
✔️ Experienced in B2B conference/events marketing, owning campaigns end-to-end
✔️ Comfortable with email platforms (Spotler/MailChimp) & CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
✔️ Strong organisational and data-driven skills
✔️ Skilled communicator and writer
✔️ Cooperative, proactive, and able to manage your own workload

Bonus if you have:
✨ Experience with paid digital campaigns or managing agencies
✨ Knowledge of marketing automation and PPC
✨ Familiarity with Adobe InDesign
