Managing Director

Based in Singapore

My client is a marketing leading full - service agency with a super strong in-house digital capability. As a Managing Director You will be fully responsible for the Singapore team, heavily involved in regional projects run out of Singapore and join the regional leadership team. That means you will work closely with our data, tech, creative and finance team for new business and project execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Leadership - Give colleagues and clients clarity about direction and tasks. Take responsibility and giveclear direction when needed.
  • Talent development and management - within a highly inclusive and diverse workplace, you will be expected to develop and partly mentor agency's senior, mid-level, and junior talent.
  • Partnership management - Form close and efficient relationships with group's agencies across all disciplines (PR, creative, production) to work on international integrated agency models as well asnew business pipelines.
  • Project execution / ownership - Setup and lead projects in terms of talent and processes.
  • New business - Build a network with consultants. Evaluate and filter the opportunities to make sure we work on an efficient pipeline of opportunities that we can really add value and are economical viable for us.
  • Strategy development / proposal develop - Actively lead and partly develop business proposal for clients.
  • Scoping - develop transparent and realistic scopes when developing and operating accounts.
  • P&L management - work closely with the finance team to manage working capital, forecasting and rations.
  • Client performance reviews - regular reviews (per our online tool) and if necessary alignments withkey clients to discuss feedback and areas of improvement.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a senior strategic role within a communication agency, strategy, or tech consultancy (8+ years)
  • Financially savvy. A desire for detailed and transparent scoping.
  • Open to discussion / mind change
  • Balance of operational understanding and overseeing the business
  • Ability to craft proposal decks in terms of storyline, content, and design.
  • Be a client strategic partner, not a delivery partner.
  • Curious and openminded leader with a track record for driving multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Ability to problem-solve many challenges simultaneously, quickly, calmly, and efficiently
  • Ideally expertise or knowledge of:

- Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, Sitecore Azure, AWS, Google Cloud

- Data analytics modelling and reporting

- Content production models / marketing automation
