Head of Media

Paid Media/ Digital Marketing

Salary up to SGD 16,000 a month

You must be based in Singapore currently to apply.

Currently we are partnering with a market leading Paid Media agency. The agency operates in over 70 markets worldwide, and currently expanding their remit in Singapore as well.

As a Head of Media you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for the Singapore function, in alignment with the global agency's vision, driving operational excellence, building and fostering the high-performance consultative culture the business unit needs to continue its success as the media landscape continues to evolve.

Success in this role will be dependent on a number of factors…

  • Fostering collaborative business partnerships with the agency leaders, providing them with strategic solutions to client and business challenges.
  • Leading the strategy and engagement with clients around all things programmatic and addressable in partnership with agency leads.
  • Ability to attract, engage, and mentor a high-performance team and to drive strong culture.
  • Accountable for business unit performance and driving business results.
  • Strong relationship-building with both internal and external partners and ability to operate effectively within a matrixed organization.

Further responsibilities…

  • Lead the evolution of the agency's business in Singapore - aligned with the global strategy - including market positioning, vision, goals and direction, driving innovation to advance capabilities.
  • Lead a team of 20+ high performing programmatic specialists, with a focus on talent development and team culture, ensuring the right structure and having the best talent in the right roles to ensure continued success.
  • Deliver best-in-class addressable services consistently and in an integrated way across local, regional and global clients.
  • Drive the evolution of the product offering in Singapore and APAC based on the global product roadmap, including the continued expansion of emerging channels (i.e., OTT Audio, Digital OOH) that can be bought programmatically.
  • Drive revenue growth and margin ahead of the industry average to guarantee the continued prioritization of resources and investment in future capabilities.
  • Contribute to clients' business growth by identifying new opportunities and fostering a culture of innovation and learning within the agency.

About you..

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years relevant work experience
  • Experience in digital media disciplines, performance marketing or database marketing with an ad agency, network, DSP, ad-tech or publisher
  • Deep understanding of biddable media, the wider ad-tech ecosystem, key partners, creative capabilities, behavioural targeting and data strategies
  • Exceptional new business and client facing skills
  • Experience in senior-level client negotiation and management skills, with clear and substantive speaking, writing and presentation skills
