Looking for Head of Analytics for a global performance marketing agency. As a senior leadership position within the APAC region, this role will allow you to be a strong voice, advocate and expert for performance media in regional pitches and key client meetings. Additionally this person will be responsible for working together with analytics leads within the agency's APAC markets and translating analytics ambitions into a cohesive, practical roadmap.

The role will be focussed in 3 areas:

Connect Global to Local

  • Assess market maturity levels and develop market-level roadmaps
  • Promote and drive adoption of global technologies and product developments, including those related to automation, ML, and data infrastructure.
  • Advise markets on investment priorities
  • Identify capability hubs to serve the region
  • Form a community of analytics leads for collaboration and knowledge share
  • Lead talent upskilling & training programs

Establish and Implement Standard of Excellence

  • Identify the capabilities required in data architecture, analysis, and activation
  • Collaborate with Google to develop product capability and work towards company certification
  • Work with the global taskforce to develop the Source Guide and e-learning for analytics
  • Build a menu of services and rate card for use / adaptation by markets

Drive Growth

  • Partner with regional client leads to identify revenue growth opportunities
  • Work on adapting products for key local markets including how products are packaged and communicated
  • Pitch, convert and lead regional client projects
  • Contribute to broader new business pitches (global / regional / local)
  • Develop & deliver a content calendar for distribution of POVs to clients & industry

What you will bring

  • Strong leadership skills and an ability to bring people together.
  • The ability to explain complex topics in a simple and clear manner.
  • Experience working with or leading AI/ML/Analytics development.
  • Some experience in working with R, Python, SQL, or Node.JS programming languages (you don't need to be an expert, but just have the basics).
  • Stakeholder management skills: the ability to nurture relationships within the organisation and find alignment on common objectives.
  • The ability to make a compelling case for client investment in a product or service.
