Finance Analyst.

An opportunity now exists for a Finance Analyst to join our client, a growing furniture company.

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the company and contributing to its growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
• Preparing of financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conducting variance analysis to track budget against the actual performance
• Monitor key financial metrics and provide management with actionable insights.
• Accounts Receivables and reviewing daily transactions.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
• Send reminders for pending payments and update the status of received payments in the financial system.
• Reconcile accounts receivable weekly.
• Prepare footfall and debtor aging reports.
• Accounts Payable and managing incoming invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Verify invoice details with purchase orders and delivery receipts.
• Schedule payments in alignment with cash flow projections.
• Upload payment details to the financial system.
• Reconcile accounts payable with internal financial records weekly.
• Manage scheduled payments with procurement for cash flow management.
• Prepare accounts payable aging reports monthly.

Your profile:

• A Diploma or a Degree in finance or related
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a finance role.
• Proficient in using Xero Financial Software
• Strong interpersonal and business liaison skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
