THE ROLE

Along with other team members, the Team Lead will represent this company's Solutions brand on-site within a well-known tech company.

As Team Lead, you will be leading and motivating colleagues in a way that enhances working relationships and encapsulates the company values and their client's brand.

You will ensure the project team delivers a consistently exceptional service to our clients through excellent project management and delivers world-class events that exceed client expectations.

This position is ideal for a corporate event planning professional with prior experience managing and motivating team members.

• The Team Lead works to coordinate staff assignments and workload for both onsite and digital events
• Responsible for assigning event requests to appropriate Event Managers
• Assigned to the planning and execution of events for designated high-profile groups
• Oversee execution of larger scale events to provide insight to Event Management team as well as additional client support
• Directly manage a team of direct reports
• Oversee workload of team ensuring day-to-day understanding of capacity/pressure points and assisting/offering guidance on team's events where required
• Oversee the on-boarding/off-boarding process for all employees
• Manage and promote communications to all team members to ensure maximum efficiency
• Ensure the team maintains positive relationships with clients
• Ensure the team is providing value to clients and seeking value-adds where possible.

ALL ABOUT YOU:

• 7+ years' event management experience preferred, preferably within a large venue, hotel, or event management capacity
• 2+ years' experience managing or supervising a team of 3 or more
• Strong people management skills with the ability to lead by example
• Decision maker and problem solver with a collaborative/team-player attitude
• Positive and caring approach to team management
• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines
• Experience working on large and complex databases
