Their events have significant growth both in sales and delegate attendance and this is no accident. They have a team of the most dedicated and talented people in the industry, and award-winning marketers.

The purpose of this new role is to help produce and deliver the marketing strategy promoting our events to delegates and exhibitors.

You will be a fluent English speaker working across the marketing mix, to promote trade technology exhibitions, taking place in Singapore.

Role: Marketing Manager

Location: Singapore

Salary: S$5,000 - S$6,000 per month

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the Head of Marketing, Managing Director and Event Directors plus the wider team to develop and implement marketing strategy, positioning and key messages and product strategy.
  • Plan and run the marketing campaign(s) and report on effectiveness and results ensuring all elements achieve required performance criteria.
  • Management of the creative/design process for marketing material. This includes the update and development of existing materials plus the creation of new material in line with the marketing strategy.
  • Work with the sales team to create sales campaigns, focused on both new client growth and increased client retention. This includes messaging to drive revenue across all products such as digital, sponsorship, and future revenue opportunities.
  • Develop strategic audience development plans and ensure marketing communications accurately reflect event positioning and key messaging. Be the lead in messaging and writing regarding outbound reach to customers. Good communication and writing skills are imperative.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop marketing campaigns, lead generation strategies and compelling materials for all revenue streams across live and digital products.
  • Work in partnership with the Content Lead, develop and align the content and marketing strategy with regular checkpoints throughout the campaign
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing for the planning and delivery of the event app as well as any virtual/hybrid proposition
  • Regularly review marketing plan, response rates/KPI's, attendee demographics, and industry best practices to ensure marketing efforts are effective and successful, making recommendations and adjustments as appropriate.
  • Responsible for the formation, and management of the products' digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM and PPC strategies and social media.
  • Oversee community building and social media strategies that drive engagement, interaction, brand affinity and could improve the audience experience.
  • Develop and manage projects and team members, including delegating tasks, reviewing team member work, adhering closely to deadlines and to budget, developing and revising ideas, and implementing projects.
  • Database management, list management, and development with the support of business intelligence and data teams.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of key marketing statistics and forecasts.
  • Manage all planning and execution of registration process for visitors
  • Responsible for the delivery and development of attendee/visitor/VIP and reporting
  • Support Head of Marketing, Marketing Director and Event Directors in determining and executing business development strategy.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience contributing to the development of marketing plans
  • Strong project management skills, being able to manage projects on an extensive scale
  • People management experience - managing direct reports, leading teams, managing performance and conduct and training
  • Writes and speaks with ease and professionalism
  • Ability to produce creative and well thought out marketing plans
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time
  • Strong IT skills and systems management (e.g. experience working with CRM and CMS platforms, databases, email marketing and marketing automation software)
  • Able to remain calm under pressure
  • Meticulous attention to detail
