Role: Event Manager
Location: Singapore
Our client is a premier events agency celebrated for transforming bold ideas into unforgettable experiences, from conferences and immersive creative productions to seamless digital and hybrid broadcasts.
They are seeking a seasoned Event Manager to lead and deliver a diverse portfolio of projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a talented team of event professionals to bring exceptional experiences to life, overseeing every stage from strategic planning to flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in internal and external project management activities, including WIP updates and stakeholder meetings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing day-to-day requirements for hybrid, live, and virtual events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, venues, and suppliers.
- Oversee all aspects of the event management process - from concept development through to onsite execution.
- Prepare comprehensive event proposals, encompassing timelines, budgets, venue and supplier recommendations, and staffing plans.
- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of project documentation to all relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations, reporting outcomes and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage onsite production crews, suppliers, and temporary staff.
- Coordinate effectively with venues and third-party vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
- Consistently exceed client expectations by delivering high-quality work and service.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Perform other related duties as required to support business needs.
About You
You are an ideal candidate if you have:
- 5-7 years of experience in the MICE industry or a closely related field.
- Proven experience managing hybrid, live, and virtual events.
- Strong planning, organisational, and client engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and timelines with precision and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
