Event Manager.

Our client has hosted confidential peer networks with access to top research, thinkers, and strategic business discussions globally and are looking for an Event Manager to join their team in Beijing, China.

Role: Event Manager

Salary: Up to RMB 29,000 monthly

Location: Chaoyang District, Beijing, China

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee meeting logistics, ensuring smooth execution of all meeting formats
• Manage event and meeting logistics - facilities, food, beverage, accommodations, transportation, AV, materials, and hospitality.
• Keep meetings on time, track expenses, and stay within budget.
• Address member issues promptly and effectively.
• Track attendance and incorporate feedback into future meetings.
• Support members of your assigned portfolios - assisting with meetings, resources, and participation.
• Encourage full participation and proactively address at-risk members.
• Facilitate networking and knowledge sharing between members.
• Ensure high-quality communication, capture discussion highlights, and share member insights.
• Protect member privacy and welcome new members with a strong initial experience.

Requirements

• Experience in event management.
• Experience in stakeholder management.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin - the role requires the individual to liaise with both local and international stakeholders.
• Able to travel for work.
