Are you a skilled editor with a passion for journalism and digital publishing? We're looking for someone to lead the editorial direction of a high-profile energy media platform covering Africa's energy sector.

This is your chance to shape a trusted, independent voice in energy, delivering news, analysis, interviews, and insight to senior decision-makers including policymakers, investors, and industry leaders.

What you'll do:

🖋 Lead the editorial vision and strategy for the platform
📰 Commission, write, and edit news, analysis, and feature content
🎙 Conduct senior-level interviews with executives, investors, and policymakers
💻 Oversee digital publishing across newsletters, podcasts, webinars, and the website
🌍 Build relationships with industry stakeholders and contributors
📈 Drive audience growth and engagement through high-quality, authoritative content

About you:

✔ Established editorial experience in journalism or specialist industry media
✔ Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
✔ Confident managing senior stakeholders and contributors
✔ Strong digital experience: CMS, newsletters, podcasts, webinars
✔ Ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content
✔ Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities

Desirable: knowledge of energy, infrastructure, finance, or policy sectors.

💷 Salary: £43,000 per year + £5-7k bonus
📅 Location: London office (4 days) + 1 day remote
✈ Occasional travel may be required
