Editor (Asia).

A content marketing agency is looking for a driven Editor to join their team in Singapore.

The Editor will manage editorial projects which will include client liaison, editorial strategy, research, commissioning, and writing.

The Editor will work across an array of clients at any one-time and will ensure all written content is delivered in accordance with the client's needs. This may include SEO-friendly and keyword rich copy, thought leadership pieces etc.

The Editor is also responsible for managing the subbing process and ensuring that copy written by other writers is delivered to the client on time and to brief.

Location: Singapore

Salary: SGD$5,500 - SGD$6,000 per month

Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

1. Client liaison
2. Editorial planning and strategy
3. Research, brief writing, commissioning
4. Understanding different Asian audiences and cultures whilst writing/briefing in the appropriate style
5. Conducting interviews
6. Conducting client meetings
7. Functioning as an editorial member and attending/reporting at regular team meetings
8. Creating a social media strategy to increase clients' online visibility, brand and traffic across Twitter, Facebook, blogs and similar social media tools
9. Contributing and maintaining social media presence (Twitter, Facebook and blogging) for selected client accounts
10. Creating and managing weekly social media reports for selected client accounts
11. Coding (HTML/CSS) and uploading online content
12. Performing other duties assigned by Senior Editors and supporting the team

Requirements

1. An individual that's willing to learn and able to meet deadlines
2. Ability to work autonomously and within a team
3. Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships
4. Ability to take responsibility for jobs until completion and the management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines whilst staying cool under pressure
5. Online editing skills and the ability to align to an existing style of writing
6. English language (Native)
7. Knowledge of other Asian languages will be an advantage
8. Experience in agencies/consumer products/publishing/media preferred
